Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Fullspec Studio LLC ("we", "us"), which operates AnswerEng. They cover the AnswerEng service, its API, the dashboard, and the AnswerEng for WooCommerce plugin. By signing up for or using AnswerEng, you agree to these terms. If you use AnswerEng for a business, you agree to them on that business's behalf.
1. The service
AnswerEng measures how often AI answer engines mention or recommend your products or business. It does this by asking those engines representative questions and analyzing their answers. It reports visibility with confidence intervals, explains likely gaps, and drafts suggested fixes. We may add, change, or remove features. Features marked as a pilot or beta may change or end without notice.
2. Your account and API key
Give us an email address you control. Keep your API key and your sign-in details secret. You are responsible for activity under your key or account. If you believe a key has leaked, rotate it or email us.
3. Plans and billing
- Free: 1 store, 10 monitored questions, sampled monthly.
- Starter: $49 per month. 1 store, 30 monitored questions, sampled weekly.
- Pro: $129 per month. Up to 3 stores, 35 monitored questions each, sampled weekly.
Each sync covers up to 5,000 products. Prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and your account then moves to the Free plan. If a payment fails, we may move your account to the Free plan. We will give at least 30 days' notice of a price change.
Refunds. If AnswerEng isn't working out for you, email billing@answereng.io within 14 days of your first paid charge and we will refund that charge in full. Apart from that, payments are non-refundable. We don't give refunds or credits for partial months, unused prompts, or plan downgrades. If we charge you in error, such as a duplicate charge or a charge after you cancelled, we will refund it. If we end your access without cause, or discontinue AnswerEng, we will refund the unused part of your current billing period.
4. Your data
You keep all rights to the catalog data, brand names, and other content you send to AnswerEng. You give us permission to store and process that content only to provide and improve AnswerEng for you. This includes sending the generated questions to the AI engines we measure. We handle data as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm that you have the right to send us the content you send.
5. Acceptable use
Use AnswerEng only for stores, websites, and businesses you own or are authorized to represent. Do not:
- use it to break the law or anyone else's rights,
- try to access other customers' data,
- probe, overload, or bypass the service's limits or security,
- resell access without our written permission, or
- use it to generate spam or deceptive content.
6. AI results and drafted fixes
AI answer engines are third-party services that change often and answer differently from one request to the next. Our measurements are statistical samples of their answers at a point in time. They are not a complete record or a prediction. We do not control those engines, and we do not guarantee any ranking, mention, recommendation, citation, traffic, or revenue.
Drafted fixes are suggestions. Review them before you publish anything. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of what you publish, including product claims, prices, and availability.
7. Third-party services
AnswerEng works with services we don't control, such as WooCommerce, WordPress, Stripe, and the AI engines we measure. Your use of them is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability or behavior.
8. Suspension and termination
You can stop using AnswerEng at any time. To have your data deleted, email hello@answereng.io. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, fail to pay, or put the service or other customers at risk. Where practical, we will give notice first. If we discontinue AnswerEng, we will give at least 30 days' notice.
9. Disclaimers
AnswerEng is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to AnswerEng is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $100.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Utah, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.
12. Changes
If we change these terms, we will update them here and change the effective date. If a change is material, we will email account holders before it takes effect. Continuing to use AnswerEng after a change means you accept the updated terms.
